Bologna project

We collaborated with the customer’s design center to optimize the design of the wheel.

The project had strict restrictions in terms of final weight and clearance for the brake calipers of the car. Moreover, the manufacturer demands regarding the safety factor and the compliance with the international standards complicated the end of works.

Starting from the project data, we implemented the wheel to fit for road use; in the following phase, we conducted a study for the optimization of the CNC machining of the forged blank.
